About Amber Covington, MD
Dr. Covington is an obstetrician/gynecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for women at every stage of life. With a focus on patient centered medicine, Dr. Covington offers expertise in everything from routine well woman exams and prenatal care to advanced gynecologic procedures.
Dr. Covington earned her medical degree from Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. After, she completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s University Health Network in 2025, where she developed a strong foundation in both obstetric and surgical care. She stays current with the latest medical advances.
Dr. Covington is known for her pleasant bedside manner, clear communication, and commitment to empowering patients through education and shared decision making. Dr. Covington provides care in areas including:
- Prenatal and postpartum care
- Family planning and contraception
- Menstrual and hormonal disorders
- Minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (laparoscopic and robotic)
- Menopause management
- Preventative screenings and wellness care
When not in the office, or hospital, Dr. Covington enjoys spending time with her family, going to museums, singing, and traveling.
