About JoAnne Ruth, CNM
JoAnne attended Chestnut Hill Hospital School of Nursing for her RN, LaSalle University for her BSN, and the University of Pennsylvania for her MSN and Certificate in Midwifery.
Prior to becoming a midwife, JoAnne worked as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Seashore House in Philadelphia. She also did and continues to provide home health care. Her initial OB experience was as a Labor and Delivery nurse at the former Rolling Hill Hospital.
JoAnne is certified through the American College of Nurse Midwives and has enjoyed providing full scope midwifery care to teens through post-menopausal women for 33 years.
When not delivering babies, or providing office visits, JoAnne likes fitness and reading. She has participated in the Broad Street 10 miler and Rocky Run 13.1 miler for the past 10 years.
